The DANGAIOH myth continues with this series, a sequel to the original DANGAIOH OVAs. This new series begins as a mysterious explosion on Futagami Island attracts the attention of a young girl, who sees only a bright flash in the sky. Ten years later, the other shoe drops when Professor Katou leads an army known as the "Tartus Knights" on a mission to take over the world. Slashing their way to victory, Katou and his men's final objective is to take over a research station on Futagami Island. However, once they reach the island, they find it guarded by a fortress from which three robots are launched who appear ready for battle.
