⢠Apparent death and funeral of Oliver Queen (Green Arrow).
⢠"Run of the Arrow" - On board a plane with a powerful bomb set to destroy Metropolis, Oliver Queen activated a dead man's switch, giving him a choice he could lose his arm to escape the inevitable explosion, or lose his life altogether. In the end, the original Green Arrow chose death, paving the way for Connor to take his place as the new Green Arrow.
This comic book issue was severely under-ordered and a relatively scarce key issue as retailers thought that all significant events would take place in issue #100.
This key issue features the "death" of Oliver Queen and is one of the three key Green Arrow issues (100, 101 & 137) that tie in with the Green Arrow series by Kevin Smith. Issues 100 and 101 relates the apparent death of Oliver Queen, and feature Superman. Issue 137, which also features Superman, was the last issue of the series and is the jumping off point for the new series.
